BioThis is a journal for Karra and Ashayath, characters on Red Star Passes MUSH.
Description:
There is much about Karra that looks soft - from the cloud of chestnut curls that streak with the sun and darken come the snows, to the curves that fill out the long lines of her body. It takes very little time to learn she's anything but, though the only hints are in the little things; her knowing dark gaze, disciplined demeanor, the sardonic tilt of her lips.
Honeyed light brown hair curls loosely to past her shoulders, framing a round face with fine brows, deep brown eyes fringed by dark lashes, long nose, and full mouth. Her skin is tawny, burnished by time on the beach, her body toned and slender. At five-foot-seven and in her mid-30s, she doesn't strike an imposing figure, but has the confidence and ease of self-possession.
She dresses with utility in mind day-to-day; today, she wears a autumn-red high-necked sweater that's fitted, long-sleeved, and bright, paired with low-waisted tweed pants. Her boots are brown leather, buckling up to her knees, and she carries a matching, well-worn riding jacket when not wearing it. From its shoulder hangs the knot of a junior weyrwoman at Benden Weyr.
Ashayath:
White-hot burning brilliance sets the hide of this dragon alight with the brightness of stars, of Rukbat's glare at high noon. The golds that cloak her in dazzling colour from top of her regally-held head, across back, and down tail are pale and luminous - the centre of a flame, the heated glare of steel being forged. The only thing that saves her from being painful to look at is a liquid amber undertone that darkens along her belly and solidifies into molten gold pooling in her limbs, like embers aglow beneath. Sharp, curved talons fogged with midnight are the only hint at the shading of her broad wings, the sails darkening to the colour of evening skies. When she moves, it's only with defined purpose.
At 21 turns, 0 months, 21 days old, Ashayath measures 25 feet from nose to tail and has a wingpsan of 37.5 feet.
